Success Stories of the State Panchayat Resource Centre (SPRC)

From 2020 to 2024-25, the State Panchayat Resource Centre (SPRC) has significantly expanded its capacity-building efforts. With a focus on strengthening local governance, SPRC organized 184+ training sessions, covering critical areas like financial management, leadership, gender-sensitive governance, and community participation.

Key Achievements:

• Over 15,500 participants including Panchayat leaders, secretaries, and staff, have benefited from these training programs across urban and rural regions.
• Increased participation, particularly from women and marginalized communities, fostering greater inclusivity in decision-making.
• Enhanced service delivery: Trained Panchayats have seen improvements in financial management, sustainable projects, and citizen engagement.

Looking ahead, SPRC plans to expand its programs, offering specialized training in digital governance and sustainability, empowering Panchayats to drive positive change at the grassroots level.
