RTI Cell - Right to Information (RTI) Act

At SPRC, Tripura we are committed to transparency, accountability, and the effective governance of all our activities. In line with the provisions of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, the RTI Cell serves as a dedicated platform for citizens to access information related to our organization’s functioning, policies, and procedures.

Purpose of RTI Cell:

The RTI Cell is responsible for managing and facilitating the process of providing information in response to requests from individuals or entities under the RTI Act. Our aim is to promote transparency and ensure that all stakeholders have easy access to relevant information in accordance with the law.

How to File an RTI Request:

If you wish to seek information from our organization, please follow these steps:

1. Submit Your Request: Address your RTI request in writing or through email to the designated Public Information Officer (PIO)/ Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO. )The request should clearly mention the information sought, along with relevant details to help us locate the information.

2. Contact Details: You can send your RTI request to the following email address: sprc-tr@tripura.gov.in or submit it to our office at State Panchayat Resource Centre, A.D Nagar, Agartala, West Tripura, Pin-799003.

3. Fees: A nominal fee may be required for processing your request, as per the rules of the RTI Act. 

4. Timeline: We are committed to responding to all RTI requests within the stipulated timeline of 30 days from the date of receipt of the application.
